Return of the pillowcase
When I turned off the light in Oliver's room tonight, he bounced up again as soon as his head hit the pillow. He looked down and pointed a finger at his pillowcase.
"Daddy....there's a smell in there."
He's like a drug dog lately with our linens. At least it was his own slobber this time.
We agreed it was time for a fresh pillowcase--first thing in the morning. The last thing kids need is a little leverage in delaying bedtime. In the meantime I just flipped the pillow over and rotated it to a smell-free area. He approved and went right to sleep.
